Starting with a giclée print on 1/2" Falconboard, I then add collaged elements such as iron-oxide polymer prints and found materials. The piece is then embellished with paint, coffee, fabric dye, and other mixed media. The final result is presented in a 2" deep white frame with a 1/4" spacer between the art and high-quality plexiglass.
Artwork is signed and dated on the back.
The imagery used often makes appearances in other works, but through the use of paint, fabric dye, coffee and other media, each piece is considered to be one-of-a-kind and unique.
